By To date, YU hasn’t been concerned with creating the meanest and most powerful smartphones out there, but that is all set to change soon. The company has started teasing a “beast” of a phone on Twitter, though they weren’t interested in revealing why, exactly, it gets that classification.
Thankfully, it’s not always up to them. New information about the device has leaked, and the specs do comfortably solidify its status as a 2015 flagship. Here’s what we can expect:

- 3GB of RAM w/ 1080p resolution, 4GB of RAM w/ 2560 x 1440 resolution
- Snapdragon 810
- 32GB of storage w/ microSD
- Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
- LTE
Doesn’t sound bad, right? YU might also make it a point to keep costs down compared to equivalent options from competing manufacturers. That’s especially important if their primary market is India, which rumors suggest it will be.
