ASUS ZenFone 2 family, PadFone S and ZenFone Selfie will get Marshmallow

ASUS today announced that 5 of their latest devices have been greenlit for Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Unfortunately ASUS didn’t have much to share in the way of expectations in terms of features, availability or anything else, but it’s nice to know they have their plans set and are working toward an eventual rollout.

Here are the 5 devices slated to receive it:

  • PadFoneS (PF500KL)
  • ZenFone2 (ZE550ML/ZE551ML)
  • ZenFone2 Deluxe / Special Edition (ZE551ML)
  • ZenFone2 Laser (ZE500KG/ZE500KL/ZE550KL/ZE600KL/ZE601KL)
  • ZenFone Selfie (ZD551KL)

As always, this initial list doesn’t rule out plans to update other devices to Marshmallow, but for now this is all you can count on for sure. We’re told to stay tuned for more details, and so we shall.
