ASUS was incredibly proud when they announced the ZenFone Zoom, an Android phone with an optical zoom lens embedded. But that was CES 2015, and the company had gone quiet about its arrival for more than a year.

Well, here we are on the eve of CES 2016, and they’ve got more news: the device is finally set to launch in February. The ZenFone Zoom will start at $399 unlocked, which is not a bad price for the internals. Here’s a refresher on what we’re getting:

  • Intel Atom quad-core processor
  • 13 megapixel camera sensor with 10-element lens, 3x optical zoom without protrusion, optical image stabilization
  • 5 megapixel selfie camera
  • 4GB of RAM
  • 64GB of storage
  • microSD up to 128GB
  • 5.5-inch 1080p display
  • 3,000mAh battery

Not a bad package for that amount of dough. We don’t have exact availability details to go on just yet, but ASUS says to stay tuned for more information that’s headed out later this month.
