AT&T Deal: buy a smartphone and get another one from the same manufacturer for free

[Update]: this deal actually applies to OEMs like LG and HTC, too. The same rule applies: the free phone has to be from the same manufacturer.

AT&T’s latest deal for Samsung phones is pretty cool. If you buy a Samsung Galaxy flagship — such as the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus or Note 5 — you can get yourself an additional Samsung Galaxy S6 for free.

The cool thing is that this applies to AT&T Next, so you’ll actually be getting a break on $595 worth of payments. There is one catch, however: you won’t receive credit until after 3 months of your account being active and in good standing, and the rebates will come to you in the form of 30 monthly bill credits.

That said, it’s still a pretty good choice if you’re looking for an upgrade and the Samsung Galaxy S6 isn’t too old for your tastes. Those looking for the latest and greatest should definitely wait for some exciting news coming later this month. Head here for more on the deal.
