Evan Blass (@evleaks) has been a busy man recently. With the impending release of a slew of smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2016, there has been a flurry of leaks and images from the various phone manufacturers. This time around, he’s got a couple images that show off Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.
Samsung is preparing to announce its latest devices on February 21st, where the world will get their official looks at the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. However, with all the leaks that have been coming out, there’s not really left much to imagination for Samsung. Barring something earth-shattering, we’ve already seen what the new devices will look like, and what will be found under the hood.
In the above image of the Galaxy S7, it’s worth noting that it seems that this device will take from its bigger brother (the Note 5) in regards to the curved back along the edges. As someone who briefly owned the Note 5, this should definitely be a welcome design change compared to the flat front and flat back that is found on the Galaxy S6.
In the images above you’ll find the Galaxy S7 Edge. It’s been noted previously, that Edge will be a bit larger than its brother, the S7. Additionally, it’s worth noting that if these images are officially from Samsung, the Galaxy S7 Edge may end up taking the cake as the premier model for Samsung’s “smaller” devices. Meaning that instead of the Galaxy S7 being the focal point of marketing, the Galaxy S7 Edge could become the centerpiece going forward.
Drop us a line below and let us know what you think about the impending release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for more news leading up to the official unveiling by Samsung on February 21st.
