Someone in Dubai seems to have some serious connections. Just after seeing a Galaxy S7 going up for sale on a classified website, the LG G5 was put up on that same website for about $680.
The photos show a legit-looking device. We can notice the new camera and fingerprint setup on the rear that we’ve seen in countless leaks and renders. The bottom of the device seems to looks detachable, though that’s tough to confirm. There’s a nice subtle G5 logo sitting above that cut, too.
Turning it around to the front, things don’t look far outside of ordinary, though @evleaks says it definitely will have the same secondary display as the LG V10. LG has some new tricks up its sleeve for the LG G5, such as an active display and supposed wireless charging. Those are all good upgrades for the 5th device in a solid series, and LG will have good reason to turn up the noise on Samsung when they make their announcement on the very same day.
[Update]: @evleaks says what he originally thought was a seconday display might have just been a section of the device’s always-on display. Either way, LG seems to have gotten the effect they wanted.
