If you’ve been following Android for a while you’re well acquainted with weird phone names. The newest phone with an odd name is the Acer Liquid Zest Plus. We promise this isn’t a bottle of soap. Acer isn’t one of the most prominent Android manufacturers, but they’ve got a nice little device on their hands. Let’s take a look.
The headlining feature of the Liquid Zest is the 5,000 mAh battery. It’s not often we see devices with batteries over 4,000 mAh, let alone 5,000. This phone is going to have insane battery life. The display is 5.5-inches, but only 720p. That’s not great resolution for a display of that size. On the plus side, it will further improve the battery life.
Other specs for this zesty device include a 13MP “tri-focus” camera. The “tri-focus” name comes from the three different autofocus systems in use: laser, phase detection, and contrast detection. On the inside is a MediaTek processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. The Liquid Zest Plus will ship with Android Marshmallow and cost under $250.
Seriously, it’s not soap.
