As large companies do, Google often acquires smaller companies. They do this for a variety of reasons (some of which don’t make people happy). The latest acquisition is a company called Synergyse. The company was formed in 2013 to help business customers train with Google Apps. Obviously, this is something that would interest Google.

The best news is that Synergyse will now be free for all Google Apps users. Synergyse had previously signed up 3,000 business to use its training program, but we’re willing to bet those numbers will skyrocket. We don’t know how much Google paid for this acquisition, but it certainly seems like a perfect match. Google makes Google Apps and Synergyse teaches people how to use them.
