Google knows how important apps and games are with smartphones tablets, and soon to be Chromebooks. To celebrate developers in yet another way, Google took to the stage at I/O 2016 to announce the winners of the 2016 Google Play Awards. The Best App award went to Houzz, an interior design application. Clash Royale, from the makers of Clash of Clans, took home the Best Game award.
There were 10 different categories, with 5 applications competing for the title of “The Best.” In order to come to this determination, each application was put through rigorous testing, with the review panel going over each little tidbit and feature of the app.
