The Samsung Gear Fit 2 is by no means going to change the world of fitness tracking, but it seems that no matter what Samsung does, it just can’t keep the device under wraps. It started with someone on Samsung’s end accidentally hitting something they shouldn’t have and just like that, the Gear Fit 2 popped up on Sammy’s own website. Then we saw some renders and leaked images that actually gave us a better idea as to what was coming. Now, someone managed to stumble upon the official Gear Fit 2 user manual found on Samsung’s very own support page.
The leakage of the User Manual confirms that the Gear Fit 2 will feature the following:
Features:
- 1.84-inch AMOLED display
- 4GB of storage
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- GPS
- Heart Rate sensor
- Step Counter
- IP68 certified
Within the User Manual, there is no mention of the actual size of the battery that will ship with the Gear Fit 2, but there is a diagram of the charging dock that will be included. This will be similar to what was included with the first generation Gear Fit. Take a look.
It seems the only thing we don’t know is when Samsung is expected to announce this device, but we can assume that it will be in the very near future if they’ve already published the user manual on the site. With preparations underway, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled and let you know if any information regarding the Gear Fit 2 becomes available.
