We have plenty of flagship Android smartphones running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor, but all these devices come with large displays. If you’re looking for a flagship-tier device with a small display, a mysterious device from Xiaomi may be your best bet. Shown off in the image below, the unnamed Xiaomi phone is said to features a 4.3-inch 720p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, fingerprint sensor and a 13MP rear camera. Besides a front glass panel and a fingerprint below the display, the image doesn’t reveal much of the phone’s design.
While some may scoff at the idea of buying a phone with a 720p display these days, the 4.3-inch panel would actually offer a ppi of 341 which is still higher than the 326 ppi on the Apple iPhone 6. The rumored price for the phone sits at 1799 Yuan which roughly converts to $272 USD.
Would you be willing to give Xiaomi’s 4.3-inch flagship smartphone a try or do you prefer a smartphone with a larger display?
