The Motorola Moto Z is the next major Android phone on the horizon. We’ve been seeing a lot of leaks and hearing many rumors about the device. One of the biggest stories about the Moto Z is the “modular” design. The Moto “Mods” have already leaked, but we don’t know a lot about how they will actually work. Today we’re learning more about the camera Mod.
A teaser image from Lenovo seems to suggest that the Moto Z will have 10x optical zoom on the rear camera. The side views of the Moto Z show a prominent camera hump, but it’s much more likely that the 10x optical zoom will come with the camera Mod. Leaked renders of the camera Mod show a massive secondary camera. The text on the teaser also suggests that the camera will be attached with “16 magnetic points.”
A poster for the Moto Z also shows us some new colors for the device. We’ve seen the colorful “style mods,” but now we’re getting another look at the frame colors. The rose gold, gold, and silver have already been shown off in leaked renders. This new poster confirms that these will be the three base colors of the Moto Z. We’re liking what we see so far. We’ll be at Lenovo World later this week for more information.
