July’s security OTA updates for Nexus devices are available for download

A new month means new security updates for Nexus devices. The July security update is now available in factory images and OTA zips. These updates usually don’t come with lengthy changelogs, but they fix vulnerabilities and keep your Nexus secure.

The security update is available for the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Pixel C, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Nexus 5, and Nexus 7. Head on over to the Google Developer page to find the OTA images for your device. You’ll also find instructions for applying the images.
