Last week we saw some sample photos from the Xiaomi Redmi Pro, but now the device is finally official. The Redmi Pro is a budget-friendly device with a few impressive features. For only $225 you’re looking at a gorgeous phone with a few things you won’t find in flagship phones that are twice the price.
For starters, the Redmi Pro has dual cameras on the back. One is a 13MP Sony sensor, the second is a 5MP Samsung sensor for bokeh effects. The idea is you can change the focus of a photo after it has been taken. The other high-end feature is the 5.5-inch 1080p OLED display. It’s not often that we see OLED displays on such affordable devices.
Some of the other specs for this impressive budget device include a fingerprint sensor, 4,050 mAh battery, USB Type C, Android 6.0, IR blaster, 32GB of storage, 3GB of RAM, and a MediaTeck processor. If you pay a little more you can get 64GB or 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM with slightly more powerful processors. This is a great little device, but it will probably be hard to come by here in the U.S.
