Sony sends out invitations for its IFA 2016 event where we expect to see a new smartphone and more
Sony’s been in the news quite a bit lately as we get closer to the start of IFA 2016. An unknown device started appearing in pictures shortly after the launch of the Xperia X lineup, which left us with a few questions as to what Sony had up its sleeve. Then when the same device was found on a popular benchmarking website, we saw that the device was carrying flagship-level specs and the conclusion was made that it was going to be unveiled at IFA 2016.
Sony has now started sending its invitations out for the IFA 2016 event where we will likely see this new device, as well as information regarding the upcoming release of the PlayStationVR. The invite also shows off some other accessories including what appears to be a Bluetooth earpiece, and a TV in the corner.
Sony will be holding its IFA event on September 1st, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled as to what will be coming out of the woodworks. We are definitely gearing up for another exciting couple of months for the world of Android, and IFA 2016 is just the beginning.
