I recently got the chance to take a look at a unique product called the AGS Wireless Laser Projection Keyboard. I have never really seen anything quite like it and it immediately drew me in from a visual standpoint. What this gadget does is project a keyboard onto any flat surface, allowing you to tap on the visual projection to type once connecting via Bluetooth.
I tested this laser keyboard projector with my Samsung Galaxy S7 and had no connection issues. Once it was paired with the device it immediately acted as a Bluetooth Keyboard and it was really fun to play around with.
In terms of portability this laser keyboard is extremely compact and weighs very little, theoretically making it a great convenience. If you are short on desk space or need something that could be an alternate solution for using your smartphone keyboard then this could be something fun to consider buying. However, considering that it only registers one button press at a time which limits you to point-and-peck input, I wouldn’t recommend buying it unless you’ve got a specific use-case in mind or simply love the novelty and visual aspect behind it.
This is one of those products where you have to see it in action so if you think it’s worth your $30 you can find it on Amazon. Although it’s not very practical, the AGS Wireless Laser Projection Keyboard looks amazing, is fun to play with, and will certainly find it’s own little niche of happy customers.
