Samsung says 85% of Galaxy Note 7 devices have been returned

Since announcing the second official recall of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung has been understandably quiet about the device. Today the Korean company announced that the recall of the beleaguered phone is going well, with nearly 85% of all devices being returned through the Note 7 Refund and Exchange Program.

Samsung also made sure to mention that most who took part in this exchange program in the United States opted to receive another Samsung smartphone, though it didn’t share an exact percentage. As we already mentioned for T-Mobile users, Samsung will be rolling out an update within the next few days that will limit the Note 7’s ability to be charged past 60%. You’ll also receive more notifications on the device alerting you to the recall and letting you know to contact your carrier in order to get a replacement device.
