Vivo will be unveiling the new X9 and X9 Plus at an event on November 16th after images were posted on Weibo by the official Vivo account. The devices aren’t expected to blow anyone away, but will at least provide another offering in the mid-range lineup of devices.
Both devices will feature an aluminum build, while retaining a look eerily similar to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, including the redesigned antenna band placement. It’s unknown what size display the devices will include, but we do know that both devices will include Gorilla Glass 5, and the bezels measure in at a mere 1.59mm.
The X9 is rumored to include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, coupled with at least 64GB of storage. As for the cameras, these devices are said to include a dual-selfie camera module, with one 20MP camera, and the other coming in at 8MP.
As for the X9 Plus, other than retaining the same build as the X9, not much is known about the device other than the fact that it is expected to include a dual-camera module on the rear. It’s highly unlikely that we’ll see these devices on this side of the world, but maybe through retailers such as GearBest, we’ll be able to get a closer look at the latest offerings from Vivo.
