Samsung’s Android Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge aren’t quite ready for primetime, but the company is looking for a few brave souls to help beta test the new software.
Some have reported that Samsung has begun beta testing its Android 7.0 build in the UK with those who have joined the Galaxy Beta Program. While there’s no guarantee that you’ll be selected, Samsung is also looking for beta testers in the US who purchased the Galaxy S7 or S7 edge from Sprint, Verizon or T-Mobile. The beta program will officially launch on November 9 and will run through the middle of December.
Follow the instructions below to sign up for the Galaxy Beta Program from your Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge
Signing up for the Galaxy Beta Program is quite easy, but there’s no guarantee that Samsung will select you to beta test the Android Nougat update for its S7 phones. The company has not disclosed how many users it will need for the program. The good news is that Samsung has unique software builds for its unlocked and service provider phones in different markets. This means that Samsung will need a good number of Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users from across the globe for proper testing.
Be sure to leave us a comment if you are selected for Samsung’s Galaxy Beta Program.
