Samsung Galaxy S8 ‘plus’ to feature 6.3-inch bezel-less display

0

We’re still months away from the unveiling of Samsung’s Galaxy S8 lineup, but we’re already neck deep in rumors. The latest news out of Korea claims that Samsung is planning to increase the display size on its flagship smartphone in an effort to attract users who typically opt for devices in its Note family. The S8 will not feature a 5.1-inch variant. Instead, the base model will feature a 5.7-inch edge display. A 6.3-inch model will also be introduced, featuring a bezel-less edge display and no home button.

While a phone with a 6.3-inch display would typically be cumbersome, the report states that the larger phone will be the same size as the 5.7-inch model. Samsung has not settled on a name for the 6.3-inch variant of the Galaxy S8, but the company is considering “Galaxy S8 plus” as one of the options.

Is a Samsung Galaxy S8 plus with a 6.3-inch bevel-less display something that would appeal to you?
