Sony has been claiming that it will be entering the mobile game market at some point in time, but there has been no solid time frame as to when that would happen. Now, according to Wall Street Journal reporter, Takashi Mochizuki, Sony will be announcing titles and partners for its smartphone game project on December 7th.

It’s unknown whether Sony will go the route of bringing all new games to the market, or if they will be bringing older titles to the mix. However, there are already a few “old school” titles already available on mobile platforms such as the Tomb Raider series, so we’ll more than likely see brand new games.
These games will initially be brought to the Japanese market, with the assumption that Sony will expand the games to more markets in the future. If Sony goes the route of bringing more old-school titles into the mix, what kind of games would you like to see? Let us know in the comments below.
