Yesterday we heard a rumor which suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would be one of the first devices released with the new Snapdragon 835 processor. This would also mark the first device released with Quick Charge 4.0, which is being touted as being able to charge your device 20% faster than Quick Charge 3.0.
However, it seems that Samsung isn’t the only company looking to use Qualcomm’s latest processor in the first part of 2017. A new rumor is suggesting that Xiaomi will be using the Snapdragon 835 on a device that will be revealed around the time of Mobile World Congress.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 is the name of the device and is the flagship of Xiaomi’s many different smartphones. We haven’t seen much leaked in regards to the upcoming device, but we have seen a few images of the supposed device.
The Mi 6 looks to feature an aluminum body and a home button that will double as a fingerprint scanner. In regards to what will be under the hood, this is the first mention of what could be powering the upcoming device.
