Early OnePlus 5 prototypes did have dual rear cameras
There’s been a lot of conflicting information regarding the OnePlus 5 here in the early going. The earliest rumors suggested we would get a dual rear camera module, however spec reports since then have suggested OnePlus is going to use a lone sensor on the rear.
Well, today Android Authority is showing us a OnePlus prototype that is certainly sporting dual rear cameras. The device looks like a OnePlus 3 through and through save for that unique camera trait.
It’s said that this design is not at all what OnePlus decided to go with for their final product, so while those earlier rumors may have been based in truth, it seems the company shifted gears at some point and now we’re back to mystery solving.
Whatever happens, we’re sure the device will live up to the expectations OnePlus has consistently set. We’re just hoping that its supposed price hike isn’t too sharp, otherwise you may as well start looking back at those mainstream alternatives.
