We are (im)patiently awaiting the official reveal of the Honor 9, as we are hoping that the device builds upon the success of its predecessor, the Honor 8. Some information has been shared regarding the device, however, we have just learned much more about it after the Honor 9 passed through TENAA.
Not only does the TENAA certifications show us what the Honor 9 will look like, but we also get a sneak peek at the specs for the device. First things first, it seems that there will be 2 different models for Honor’s next flagship, one of which features 4GB of RAM, while the other features 6GB of RAM.
As for the rest of the specs, it seems that the differences stop in how much RAM comes with the 2 Honor 9 variants. We’ll be seeing a 5.15-inch FHD display, while being powered by the Kirin 960 SoC, and both options will include 64GB of storage.
When it comes to the cameras, previous rumors have been confirmed as the Honor 9 will feature a setup similar to that of the Huawei Mate 9. There will be two camera sensors on the back, with the main shooter coming in at 20MP, and the secondary sensor coming in at 12MP. There will also be an 8MP selfie camera placed on the front of the device.
Finally, the Honor 9 will be packing a 3,100mAh battery to keep the lights on, while featuring dual SIM capabilities. As for pricing, we are expecting the 4GB variant to be priced around $335, with the 6GB variant priced at around $380.
