There’s no doubt that you’ve likely seen some pictures and videos regarding Meizu’s latest flagship with the Meizu Pro 7 Plus and its dual-screen design. But the company has just launched its latest smartphone with the Meizu M6 and returns to the basics.
The Meizu M6 doesn’t offer any special features or any extra frills, but offers a package that is respectable and still gives the user many features that make it a viable option. The M6 features a 5.2-inch 720p display, while being powered by the MediaTek MT6750 chipset, along with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of storage.
Meizu M6 Specs
- 5.2-inch HD Display
- MediaTek MT6750 SoC
- 2GB/3GB
- 16GB/32GB Storage
- 8MP Front Camera
- 13MP Rear Camera
- 3,070mAh Battery
The front camera comes in at 8MP, which is an improvement over the Meizu M5, and a 13MP main shooter. Furthermore, the M6 comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the front, along with Android 7.0 Nougat with Meizu’s Flyme 6.0 UI. Finally, the M6 features a 3,070mAh battery, which should be more than adequate to get you through a day or two with little to no issues.
The best part about the Meizu M6 may be its price, as it comes in at CNY 699 or just $105 for the base 2GB/16GB model. If you want to bump things up a bit, you can snag the 3GB/32GB variant for $135. However, Meizu has yet to share international availability for the M6, but it will launch in China on September 25th.
