2017 has not been kind to BLU as the company has seen a multitude of issues with security on its devices, as well as inexplicably locking owners of the Life One X2 out of their devices. None of this has deterred the company from working on new options, and that brings us to today’s announcement of the BLU Life One X3.
The budget device features a 5.5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, showing that BLU isn’t just ready to join the bezel-less movement just yet. Powering the Life One X3 is the MediaTek MT6753 chipset, which has been coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. However, the Life One X3 will only support expandable storage up to 64GB, which may be a disappointment to some.
When it comes to the cameras, there is a 13MP camera sensor found on both the front and rear of the Life One X3. The rear camera is equipped with an LED flash (as expected), as well as Phase Detection Autofocus, while also being able to shoot HD video with a format of 1080p@30fps.
Perhaps the biggest feature of the Life One X3 isn’t its sleek design, but instead, is the included 5,000mAh battery. This is an absurdly large battery, and one that should definitely last you for at least a couple of days, provided that the software has been properly optimized.
With the 5,000mAh battery and a sleek design, the Life One X3 is definitely one that could turn some heads, even more so when you consider the price. For a limited time, you can get the Life One X3 for just $149 from Amazon, which is a savings of $100 off of the retail price of $250. We aren’t sure just how long this price will last, as BLU states it will run “while supplies last”.
