When you think of Chromebooks, chances are that you think about an internet-only device that may or may not suit your needs. However, there are some out there who are so entrenched in the world of Chrome, that these laptops become their primary computer as it checks all of the boxes.
But what if there was a world where Chrome OS ran on more than just laptops? It seems that pipe dream may become a reality after an image was shared with ChromeUnboxed which shows an unnamed Acer tablet running Chrome OS.
This image was taken during the BETT conference in London, which is directed at those in the education industry. As expected, there’s not much else to go on here as there was no information about specs or availability shared at the time.
Instead, this leaves everything up to a bunch of speculation, starting with the display size of between 8 and 10-inches. On the other side, regardless of the specs of this unannounced tablet, a Chrome OS tablet could help change the game, and considering the number of 2-in-1 Chromebooks on the market, could be a welcome addition to the Chrome OS lineup.
Let us know in the comments below what you think about this tablet and if you would be interested in using a tablet which is strictly powered by Chrome OS.
