A Samsung Galaxy S10+ has been spotted in the wild

It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S10+ has shown up in the wild! This photo was snapped in South Korea, and while pixelated and distorted due to zoom, it does give us a look at the upcoming device.

We know that this is the plus model due to the size and the fact that the hole punch is oval and contains two cameras. It’s a good look at how the hole punch behaves in daily use, being contained by the status bar and staying out of the way.

A Samsung employee who’s also currently testing the device right now chimed in, claiming the device is in a security case but the flip cover folded over and the watermark security software disabled, something the employee in the photo may get in trouble for.

Other details this anonymous redditor dished out is that the device is about the same size as a Galaxy Note 9 but lighter in weight. The in-display fingerprint reader is also quick, and with the absence of the iris scanner, Samsung has transitioned to the less secure camera-based face unlock.

The look at the upcoming Samsung flagship is an interesting one, even if it doesn’t give us much more detail than we already know. Now the ball is in Samsung”s court to launch the phone!
