Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet announced with S Pen support

0

When it comes to support for the S Pen, we usually think of the Samsung Galaxy Note series of smartphones, but if the idea of using a tablet with a stylus appeals to you, then you might not need to look any further. Samsung has since announced its latest Android tablet in the form of the Galaxy Tab A.

This is an 8-inch Android tablet that comes with support for the S Pen stylus (there is even a slot that lets you keep the stylus). This means that if you’re used to using the S Pen with other Samsung tablets or their Note series, then this shouldn’t be a foreign experience for you.

In terms of specs, as we mentioned, the tablet will be packing an 8-inch 1920×1200 display. We are also looking at the use of the Samsung Exynos 7904 chipset which means that this won’t be a high-powered tablet. There will also be 3GB of RAM accompanying the tablet, 32GB of expandable storage via microSD, a 4,200mAh battery, and also support for LTE for those who wish to take the tablet with them on the go.

There will also be an accompanying 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and the tablet will also charge via USB-C. It’s not the most spectacular tablet we’ve seen, but judging by its specs, it probably won’t cost too much which should be ideal for those who need a tablet but aren’t too fussed about its specs or features.
