ASUS ZenFone 6 Edition 30 celebrates the company’s 30th anniversary

As some of you might recall, earlier this month, ASUS launched the ZenFone 6. This is the company’s latest smartphone and for $500, it comes with some pretty decent hardware. Granted, it might not be the most powerful or most amazing flagship phone in the market, but for $500, it’s hard to argue with what ASUS is giving us.

For those who feel that maybe the ZenFone 6 could do with a little more oomph, you might be interested to learn that the company has since announced the ASUS ZenFone 6 Edition 30. This particular variant of the handset has been created as a celebration of ASUS turning 30 years old.

For the most part, the phone will remain the same save for a few changes. This includes its RAM which has been bumped up from 6GB to 12GB. Its storage has also increased to 512GB, and it will come with a 30-month warranty, much longer than what most manufacturers are willing to give.

ASUS has also made some design changes to the back of the phone that’s supposed to be more reminiscent of older ASUS phones. Whether or not this is a good thing is a matter of personal preference, but the company only plans on making 3,000 units available worldwide.

If limited edition products are your jam, then it might be worth looking forward to when it launches. There was also no mention of price, but with its upgraded features, we imagine it’ll probably cost more than the $500 price tag ASUS is charging for the regular ZenFone 6.
