Samsung Note 10’s “Link to Windows” feature works on older Samsung devices

0

Samsung announced the feature “Link to Windows” in partnership with Microsoft during the Galaxy Note 10 launch event. The feature is currently an exclusive to the new Note 10 and Note 10+, but only if you mind doing a little sideloading.

The APK has been extracted and can now be sideloaded to some modern Galaxy devices running Android Pie and One UI. It has been tested on the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S10 series, but be warned. XDA’s Max Weinbach installed it on his Pixel and soft bricked it. The fact that an APK designed for another phone can brick a device is definitely concerning.

After sideloading the APK, download the Your Phone Companion app and add the new Link to Windows tile to your quick tiles. After setup, a single tap will connect your phone to your Windows computer and allow you to see your text messages, photos, and even notifications.

For the APK, hit the source link and let us know if it works for you! But do this at your own risk, as these sorts of mods are never 100% safe.
