Huawei Mate 30 Pro renders show off a near-buttonless design

According to photos that were leaked a couple of months ago, it suggested that Huawei could be adopting a circular camera cutout on the back of the upcoming Mate 30 Pro handset. The circular cutout was also said to house a quad camera setup, bumping it up from the triple camera design from last year’s Mate 20 Pro.

Now thanks to a series of renders created by @OnLeaks and published on Pricebaba, it looks like we finally have an idea of what the Huawei Mate 30 Pro could look like. The renders “confirm” the circular camera cutout on the back of the phone along with its quadruple cameras. Also, if you look closely, you can also see that the front of the phone is packing three cameras, although how exactly they will be used remains to be seen.

Also, what’s noticeable about the design is that Huawei seems to have opted to do away with all physical buttons save for the sleep/wake button, creating a very sleek and seamless look. We had previously heard that one of the design changes Huawei would be making is to give the phone’s display a more dramatic curve along the edge, but it’s hard to tell if they did based purely on these renders.

Needless to say that this should be taken with a grain of salt, but Huawei has confirmed that the Mate 30 series will be announced on the 19th of September, so we should have more details soon.
