New Pixel 4 video tests the phone’s 90Hz display and gaming capabilities

0

The Google Pixel 4 has made yet another video appearance. This time around, the phone’s gaming abilities are being featured, showing how the phone handles PUBG Mobile at the highest settings. When it comes to the specs, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 should be able to handle most games with ease, but the phone will feature a 90Hz refresh which should deliver a better experience for those who are serious about gaming.

That being said, the Pixel 4 devices will only have 6GB of RAM. With most other manufacturers opting for 8GB of RAM for their entry-level flagship smartphones and up to 12GB for those who don’t mind paying for excess, Google’s Pixel 4 lineup appears to be a step behind. Fortunately, limiting the Pixel 4 to just 6GB of RAM shouldn’t have much of an impact on games. Sure, the phone will likely dump apps that are running in the background to give a resource-intensive game like PUBG Mobile as much breathing room as possible, but that should be more than enough to allow the Pixel 4 to play the best games on Android as their maximum settings.
