Motorola Moto 360 2nd Gen 2015 DSC09996

The new Moto 360 smartwatch is available for pre-order

Back in the early days of wearables, Motorola set themselves apart when they launched the original Moto 360 (which has since been discontinued). This is because in a market of wearables filled with square and boxy designs, the Moto 360 offered up a more traditional circular face like a regular watch.

Many other companies have since filled that void, but if the Moto 360 has a special place in your heart, you might be pleased to learn that the new Moto 360 is currently available for pre-order. The new Moto 360 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform and will come with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and will sport a 1.2-inch circular AMOLED display.

It will also come with a 355mAh battery with support for quick charge, where it will go from 0-100% in about 60 minutes. There will also be water-resistance which means that you can use it to log your swims and you shouldn’t have any problems with it. It will be powered by Google’s Wear OS platform.

We also want to point out that despite this being known as the Moto 360, it is actually made by a company called eBuyNow who has licensed the branding, similar to how HMD Global licensed the Nokia brand. The Moto 360 will be priced at $350 and is expected to begin shipping out to customers on the 10th of January.
