Lenovo Tab P11 Pro 2

Lenovo sets to take on Apple and Samsung with the sleek and premium Tab P11 Pro

To be honest, there are three primary players in the tablet market – Samsung, Apple, and Amazon. Samsung has offerings at just about every price point, Apple does as well, but has more of a focus in the premium market, and Amazon comfortably makes up the budget market with its Fire Tablet lineup. Lenovo has been slowly trying to get into the budget tablet battle with offering’s like the Tab M10, but now it’s trying to take on some of the flagship tablets.

The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro has been announced, will provide an interesting competitor just in time for the 2020 Holiday season. The P11 Pro sports a 11.5-inch OLED display, complete with a 2,560×1,600 resolution and both Dolby Vision / HDR10 support.

Powering this new tablet is the Snapdragon 730G, which is the same chipset you’ll find in the Pixel 4a. And if the battery is a concern for you, just take a look at the Pixel 4a, and add the enormous 8,600mAh cell, which gives Lenovo the ability to claim up to 15 hours of juice on a single charge.

Since this is designed for the premium market, the Tab P11 Pro features an aluminum chassis, with four JBL speakers which have also been optimized for Dolby Atmos. While iPad owners have to keep dealing with putting their thumbs over the annoying placement of the selfie camera, Lenovo thought of this and placed on the right-hand side, so it’s more like a laptop when being used in landscape mode.

Finally, Lenovo has also created a keyboard and stylus that are designed for the Tab P11 Pro. With the keyboard, stylus, and tablet, you’ll be able to get all of your work done, from wherever you are. Although this tablet doesn’t sport the latest Snapdragon 865+, that’s not a bad thing, as the P11 Pro will retail for $499 when it launches in November.
