Poco X3 NFC: the flagship killer is back

Back in 2018, Xiaomi sub-brand Poco made waves when it announced the Pocophone F1. A surprisingly cheap smartphone that came with some pretty awesome flagship hardware, proving that you don’t need to charge an arm and a leg to put out a smartphone with killer hardware and features.

Now it looks like the company is back with its latest smartphone, the Poco X3 NFC. While it might not necessarily be following in the footsteps of the Pocophone F1, it does have some pretty amazing specs that could give 2020’s flagship smartphones a run for their phone.

The Poco X3 NFC will come with a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 2400×1080 resolution. It features a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate, something that some more expensive flagship phones are sadly lacking. It supports HDR10 and features the use of Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5.

Like we said earlier, the Poco X3 NFC is not a flagship handset so it’s not surprising to see that it won’t be using the Snapdragon 865 or 865+. It will instead be powered by the Snapdragon 732G and will come with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64-128GB of storage.

The cameras on the phone, at least on paper, seem promising with a quad setup on the back that consists of a 64MP main sensor, a 13MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. It will support 4K video recording at 30 fps, and there will also be a 20MP front-facing camera.

The Poco X3 NFC will also come with a 5,160mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging with USB-C connectivity. So if you’re in the market for a new smartphone that comes with pretty amazing specs and a decent price tag to match, then the Poco X3 NFC could be the phone for you.
