Back in July earlier this year, ASUS took the wraps off their latest gaming smartphone in the form of the ASUS ROG Phone 3. If you thought that this was a pretty awesome phone that you wouldn’t mind getting your hands on, then you might be interested to hear that after waiting several months, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 is finally available in the US.
The phone is priced at $999.99, which is kind of expensive, but it is also around the price one might be able to expect from a flagship. In case you’re learning about the phone for the first time, here are its specs.
The ROG Phone 3 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset and one of the configurations that you can choose from will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will also support 5G connectivity so if you’re living somewhere that has 5G coverage, you’ll be able to take advantage of it.
The display of the phone is also a marvel to behold. It measures 6.59-inches in size and has a 144Hz refresh rate and a 270Hz touch sampling rate with 25ms touch latency. Typically speaking, most phones these days cap at a 120Hz refresh rate, so the 144Hz refresh rate should make the experience even better.
The ROG Phone 3 also packs a triple camera setup on the back which combines a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor, with a 24Mp front-facing shooter. The phone is also accompanied by a 6,000mAh battery.
