The smartphone market landscape has shifted. Flagship phones these days are no longer a “must-have” and that these high-end phones are now targeted at users who want the best performance a phone can give them. Instead, many companies now are trying to focus on mid-range and budget devices.
If you’re after a new smartphone that doesn’t break the bank, you’ll be pleased to learn that Poco has just announced their latest smartphone, the Poco M3. Given the company’s history with creating budget and value for money devices like the legendary Pocophone F1, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the Poco M3 is staying true to those roots.
We’re talking about a phone that comes with a decently-sized 6.53-inch FHD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP main sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor, an 8MP front-facing shooter, and to top it all off, a massive 6,000mAh battery.
Poco is also keeping the price of the phone incredibly competitive where we’ve heard that it will be priced starting at €150. While it’s probably not the most impressive smartphone we’ve seen on the market, for its asking price, it is certainly giving smartphones like the Google Pixel 4a and the OnePlus Nord a run for its money.
