HMD launches a Nokia online store for customers in the US

0

If it’s not clear by now, HMD is doing everything it can to make its Nokia phones more accessible for interested buyers in the US. Following the launch of the Nokia 8 V 5G UW on Verizon last month, HDM has unveiled the opening of its online storefront in the US.

Rather than purchasing a Nokia smartphone through your service provider or third-party retailers, US customers can go to Nokia.com/phones and purchase more than a dozen devices from the Nokia lineup. Nokia isn’t offering any exclusive deals or discounts with the launch of its online store, but it is promising free shipping for all purchases, with devices shipped from Nokia’s warehouses within two days.

While most in the US are familiar with the Nokia brand, it never dominated the US marketplace as it did over in Europe. HMD’s efforts to revive the Nokia brand after it was scrapped by Microsoft appear to be paying off, but there’s still a ways to go before Nokia becomes a household name among smartphone buyers in the US.
