If the rumors are true, Google could be planning to launch multiple Pixel phones later this year. One of those phones is rumored to be the Pixel 5a, while the other is said to be the Pixel 6, which will hopefully see Google introduce higher-end specs to its flagship phone this yera.
Now thanks to an APK teardown by the folks at 9to5Google, some of the phone’s specs and features have been potentially revealed. Based on the teardown, they have discovered some evidence to suggest that the company could be moving the front-facing camera to the top-middle of the screen.
Previously, the camera was located on the top-left corner of the screen, but the teardown suggests it will be moved. In addition to moving the camera, the report claims that Google could be giving the camera an upgrade in video resolution, where it might be capable of capturing 4K video. This is versus the Pixel 5 where the front-facing camera was only capable of 1080p at 30 fps.
Not much else is known about the Pixel 6 at the moment and what kind of hardware it could be packing. Also, what’s interesting is that there have also been rumors about a foldable Pixel phone which could potentially launch this year as well.
