Chromebooks are more popular than ever, and for good reason as these cheaply-priced laptops give you Chrome and Android apps in a larger form-factor. But there’s another market of Chromebooks that is more competitively-priced compared to mid-range or high-end Windows laptops. One such product is Google’s-own Pixelbook Go which was originally introduced back in 2019.
For the first time since Google unceremoniously discontinued the Pixel Slate, several of those higher-end Pixelbook Go models have been discounted. In the current sale, the base model Pixelbook Go remains unchanged in terms of pricing, starting at $649. However, all of the Intel Core i5 and Core i7 models are seeing discounts.
- Intel Core i5 – 8GB / 128GB – $799 (Save $50)
- Intel Core i5 – 16GB / 128GB – $899 (Save $100)
- Intel Core i7 – 16GB / 256GB – $1,249 (Save $150)
This is not exactly an indication that Google is working on a replacement for the Pixelbook Go, but it does mark the first time that Google has discounted the product. While you can order one of these directly from Google, Amazon is also matching the sales for all three variants.
With the deal, you’ll be able to save up to $150 on the Pixelbook Go, along with a minimum savings of $50 for the 8GB / 128GB Core i5 model. If you don’t want to opt for something like the Chromebook Duet or the Acer Spin 713, then the Pixelbook Go is a fantastic Chromebook to consider.
