Google showed off a lot of new features for quite a few of its products during the opening keynote at Google I/O today, but we’re pretty sure that the one thing you’re most interested in is Android 12.
The new Android 12 build appears to be one of the biggest updates to the platform in years with a dramatic UI redesign that puts your personal preferences front and center with the new Material You design language. While Android betas have launched at Google I/O events over the past decade or so to a select number of devices, the list of smartphones eligible to install the Android 12 beta is quite extensive! In total, 11 different manufacturers are participating in the Android 12 beta.
While it’s impressive to see the list of OEMs jumping in on the beta program grow, only Google, Xiaomi, and OnePlus have more than one device on the list.
