To be honest, Google’s Pixel phones have always felt a bit meh in terms of design. While there’s nothing to hate about the design, they just haven’t felt particularly exciting compared to companies like Samsung, but that could change this year with the Google Pixel 6 Pro.
Now, some of you might have come across the renders shared by Jon Prosser and RendersByIan last week, and if you were hankering for more, @OnLeaks and Digit.In are more than happy to oblige. The renders shared seem to corroborate the design language we saw in the previous renders, except that the colors are slightly different.
Do take note that in the previous post, another leakster Max Weinbach stated that while the design was correct, the colors weren’t. We’re not sure if he means that the phone will be using completely different colors compared to what is being shown in the renders, or if the tone is different.
In these renders, the back of the phone shows a more white finish versus that pink-ish orange hue. The accent at the top of the phone also appears to be slightly more saturated, but that could just be the choice of the designer. Other than that, the rest of the phone looks more or less the same, including the interesting horizontal camera array.
The Pixel 6 Pro could be Google’s largest Pixel phone to date. The rumored dimensions of the phone are 163.9 x 75.8 x 8.9mm. The phone will most likely be launched later in the year, so check back with us then for more details.
