Back in April, HMD Global announced a total of six new devices under the Nokia branding, including the Nokia G20. Fast forward to today, and the company has confirmed that the G20 will be coming to the US starting on July 1st.
As a refresher, the Nokia G20 sports a 6.5-inch LCD display with a 1600 x 720 resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G35, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage (up to 512GB).
In terms of the camera system, HMD Global has packed a quad-camera array headlined by a 48MP primary lens. You’ll also find a 5MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 12MP depth sensor. There’s also an 8MP camera on the front that will handle your selfies and video calls.
But the most intriguing part about the Nokia G20 is its massive 5,050mAh battery. This battery is capable of taking advantage of 10W charging speeds, but with the combination of the large battery, a near-stock Android interface, and the 720p resolution, the G20 should last for a few days on a single charge.
HMD Global announced that the Nokia G20 will launch in the US starting on July 1st, coming in two different colors – Glacier and Night. The phone is priced at $199 and will be available for purchase from Nokia’s website.
