Samsung Galaxy Buds Live First Impressions 1

Latest leak gives us a close-up look on the Galaxy Buds 2

Aside from the two foldable phones and the Galaxy S21 FE, we’re also expecting some accessories to be introduced at Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event. This includes the Galaxy Watch 4 series, along with the Galaxy Buds 2. But instead of being the successor to the Galaxy Buds Pro, it seems that these rumored headphones will replace the Galaxy Buds+.

We’ve been seeing different leaked renders, revealing the color options that will be made available. And now, Evan Blass (@evleaks) has shared the pairing animations for the three different colors.

With these animations, it seems that the outside of the case will be made in a glossy white, but opening the case reveals the different colors. On the earbuds themselves, you can see that there will be two microphones, likely for some type of noise cancelling. There is also the charging pins and wear detection sensors placed in the inner side.

As for the case, there’s nothing much to write home about here. The case looks pretty similar to that of the Galaxy Buds Pro and the Galaxy Buds Live, as Samsung moves away from the oblong shape offered by previous iterations. There’s an LED charging indicator on the front, along with a USB-C charging port on the back. We aren’t expecting to see wireless charging made available with these, although it wouldn’t surprise us if it was included.

The Galaxy Buds 2 are expected to arrive alongside Samsung’s second-half flagships, and are likely to be unveiled at an Unpacked event rumored to take place on August 11.
