Earlier this year, we saw the release of the Master & Dynamic MW08, which have turned out to be some of our favorite headphones of the year. Today, the company is back at it with its announcement of the MW08 Sport True Wireless Earphones. In our review of the MW08 headphones, we gave the earbuds a 4.75/5 rating, thanks to the all-week battery life, along with adjustable ANC levels, sleek design, and great comfortability.
Master & Dynamic is taking all of the great things about the MW08 and adding one of the biggest features that was lacking — wireless charging. The MW08 Sport promise up to 12 hours of battery life on a single charge, with an extra 30 hours thanks to the charging case. But along with the MW08 Sport, Master & Dynamic is also introducing its first wireless charging pad with the MC100.
There are a few different color options available for both of these products:

- MC100 Wireless Charge Pad:

This combination won’t win any super-fast charging awards, but the MC100 offers up to 10W of charging speeds for the MW08 Sport. The wireless charging pad is made from a combination of coated canvas and aluminum “that enhances heat dissipation for optimal charging efficiency”. And of course, if you don’t want to use a wireless charger, there’s a USB-C port built into the charging case.
From a sound quality perspective, you can expect to see the same great experience that was offered with the MW08 earbuds. These headphones include the same 11mm Beryllium drivers, along with Qualcomm’s Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation for “an immersive listening experience in any environment.” To go along with this, Master & Dynamic is including a total of seven different ear-tips to help ensure you get the perfect fit, regardless of your ear size. You’ll get five silicone tips to go along with two foam ear-tips that confirm to the shape of your ear.
To warrant the change in name to “Sport”, Master & Dynamic has added an official water resistance rating for both the earbuds and the case. The earbuds feature an IPX5 rating, while the case itself now includes an IPX4 water resistance rating, making these earbuds a great option for workouts.
The Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport headphones and the new MC100 wireless charging pad are both available for purchase starting today. The earbuds are priced at $349, while the wireless charging pad comes in at $69.
