Last week the Poco F3 GT was released, offering a rather intriguing alternative to the new OnePlus Nord 2. Today, Poco is back at it again with its announcement of the Poco X3 GT.
The X3 GT offers the same design as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, but replaces the Redmi branding with a Poco logo on the back. The display measures in at 6.6-inches and is an IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch-sampling rate, and FHD+ resolution. Poco is also including its DynamicSwitch technology that automatically adjusts the refresh rate between 30Hz and 120Hz to match whatever content is being displayed.
Powering the X3 GT is the Mediatek Dimensity 1100, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. Like the Dimensity 1200 found in the F3 GT, the Dimensity 1100 offers flagship-like performance while being built on the same 6nm process.
Poco is packing a 5,000mAh battery into the X3 GT, complete with 67W Turbo Charging capabilities. Poco claims that with this tech, you’ll be able to go from 0-100% in just under 45 minutes. Even without the fast charging speeds, the larger battery paired with the DynamicSwitch technology should ensure that your phone lasts you easily throughout the day.
On the back, the X3 GT features a triple camera array, with a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Poco is also including plenty of camera software features such as “Pro Time-Lapse”, along with HDR video recording. You’ll also be able to apply one of eight different “cinematic movie filters” to create the perfect home movie with just your phone.
Other features of the X3 GT include a multi-functional NFC chip, along with a X-axis linear motor to provide a “better haptic experience with every vibration of the device.” The Poco X3 GT is available in three different colors; Stargaze Black, Cloud White, and Wave Blue. Pricing for the phone starts at $299 for the 8GB/128GB model, and goes up to $329 for the 8GB/256GB variant.
