If you have been patiently waiting to get your hands on the Nothing Ear (1) headphones, now’s your chance. Starting today, you can order Nothing’s semi-transparent earbuds for just $99, and they are available across 45 different countries across the globe.
Truthfully, we kind of forgot about these given all of the different device launches from Samsung, Xiaomi, and Honor. But that doesn’t mean you should just ignore these altogether. Priced at just $99, the Nothing earbuds include practically everything you could want in a set of truly wireless earbuds, without costing an arm and a leg.
The Ear (1), despite the awkward name, offer 11.6mm drivers, along with “Pure Sound” tuning from Teenage Engineering. Active Noise Cancellation aims to drown out the world around you, thanks to a trie of microphones in each earbud. Battery life should be just okay, as these are rated for up to 5.5 hours on a single charge, while the earbuds and case combine for up to 34 hours of juice.
To go along with the new earbuds, Nothing has released an app onto the Play Store, and the Ear (1) even supports Google Fast Pair. After downloading the app and getting the earbuds all set up, you’ll be able to dive in and customize your gestures, along with using the ‘Find My Earbud’ feature.
As we stated above, the Nothing Ear (1) earbuds are officially on sale starting today, are priced at $99, and are currently shipping in “2-4 weeks”. Let us know what you think about these earbuds and if you’ll be picking them up for yourself.
