The Google Pixel 6 series has been rumored for a while now, with Google themselves kind of confirming the design and some of its features, but the only thing the company has yet to reveal is when the phone will be announced, but we might have an idea when.
According to a post made on Weibo, user “Bald Panda” claims that the Pixel 6 series will be officially announced on the 13th of September. What’s interesting is that this rumored date is also said to coincide with other phone launches, or at least around that same period. This includes phones like the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and the iPhone 13.
It is also launching much earlier than the Pixel 5 did back in 2020, where it was officially announced on the 30th of September, so this makes the Pixel 6 two weeks earlier than its predecessor.
That being said, out of the phones that will be launching, the Pixel 6 is probably the most exciting of the bunch. This is because for the first time, Google will be debuting its own chipset with the phone, thus putting it in the same league as Samsung and Apple, so it will be interesting to see how it fares.
It will also be sporting a brand new futurist design which we’re kind of digging, if we were being honest. There are many things to be excited for so hopefully this date pans out, but Google should be sending out the invites soon if that is the case.
