This is what we can expect from Motorola’s next flagship phone

While companies like Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, and OnePlus are stealing the limelight these days when it comes to phones, let’s not forget that back in the day, Motorola was a juggernaut in the phone space. While the company has kind of quietly faded into the background, they’re still churning out handsets.

In fact, come 2022, the company could have an interesting and new flagship phone to keep an eye out for. This is said to come in the form of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, whose specs were leaked by TechnikNews.

According to the publication, the handset has been codenamed “Rogue” and will feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a hole-punch camera on the front and a pretty impressive 144Hz refresh rate. This is higher than most smartphones and puts it on par with a lot of gaming monitors out there.

Under the hood, the phone is also expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 and could come with as much as 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Also, it seems that the phone will come with a triple camera setup on the back with a 50MP main shooter, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front will actually be packing a 60MP selfie cam.

Furthermore, the phone is also expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery that will support 68W fast charging, juicing it up to 100% in just 35 minutes. There is no word on when it will be launching, but it is speculated that it might arrive in the early part of 2022.
